SOAPscope Server users collaborate by creating, and sharing workspaces that contain Web services, contracts, messages, recorded actions, simulated operations, and descriptive notes. They can be used to create shared test suites for unit, functional, regression and acceptance testing, with the additions of Load Check, an add-on to SOAPscope Server, worskspaces can be added to the load test to simulate workloads for the virtual users of web services. Workspaces can be shared with all members of the services development team. They are reusable assets that help team members leverage each others work.
In addition, new to SOAPscope Server 6.0 are Service Spaces, containers that allow teams within an organization to share a Server but each maintain separate private storage and access to project assets. These assets can be workspaces, test suites, load tests, and other assets and artifacts that are created and used by a services team. Service Spaces enables collaboration in a service-oriented development life cycle. SOAPscope Server includes five Service Spaces; additional Service Spaces are available as an add-on if your organization needs them.
